  3.          HOW TO SEND A MESSAGE PREPARED OFF LINE

  5. Sometimes, you will want to prepare a message offline. You may then use any
  6. text editor (like QEDIT, NED or other), or if you prefer to use a full word
  7. processor (as WP), you will have to save your file in DOS format, otherwise
  8. your message would be impossible to read. Suppose you saved you message to a
  9. file named MESSAGE.TXT
  10.  
  11. When you connect the BBS, you prepare to send your message as usual:
  12. SP VE2BLY
  13. Subject: This is an example message
  14. And then, when the BBS asks for your message text, you command your terminal
  15. program to send the ASCII file named MESSAGE.TXT. When the file has been
  16. transmitted, you end your message as usual by typing:
  17. /EX
  18. Et voila!
