- HOW TO SEND A MESSAGE PREPARED OFF LINE
-
- Sometimes, you will want to prepare a message offline. You may then use any
- text editor (like QEDIT, NED or other), or if you prefer to use a full word
- processor (as WP), you will have to save your file in DOS format, otherwise
- your message would be impossible to read. Suppose you saved you message to a
- file named MESSAGE.TXT
-
- When you connect the BBS, you prepare to send your message as usual:
- SP VE2BLY
- Subject: This is an example message
- And then, when the BBS asks for your message text, you command your terminal
- program to send the ASCII file named MESSAGE.TXT. When the file has been
- transmitted, you end your message as usual by typing:
- /EX
- Et voila!
